HID to Spotlight the Next Phase of Access Control Modernization at FSIE 2026

The company plans to engage Indian enterprises, system integrators and infrastructure stakeholders on upgrading legacy access systems, digitized credentials and secure identity-led access environments

HID, a leading provider of trusted identity solutions, will spotlight the next phase of physical access control modernisation at FSIE 2026, taking place at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, from 3 to 5 September 2026. The company will engage customers, partners, system integrators, consultants and security professionals on how Indian enterprises can upgrade legacy access systems, adopt digitised credentials and build secure, identity-led access environments.

As Indian enterprises expand across larger campuses, manufacturing facilities, BFSI environments, Global Capability Centres, smart buildings, data centres and critical infrastructure, physical access control is becoming more complex to manage. Many organisations continue to operate legacy systems that were built for simpler, single-site environments, even as workforces, contractors, visitors and vendors now move across multiple facilities, restricted zones and security layers.

This shift is creating a clear need for access systems that are secure, easier to govern and ready for digitised credentials. For enterprises, the challenge is no longer limited to managing entry at the door. It is about ensuring that the right identity has the right access, at the right time, across the entire access lifecycle.

At FSIE, HID will focus on how organisations can upgrade legacy access systems, strengthen access governance across multi-site environments and support the shift towards mobile and digitised credential frameworks. The discussions will be especially relevant for sectors where access control is closely linked to operational continuity, compliance, employee experience and enterprise resilience.

HID will also preview select access control innovations and showcase a range of its access control solutions, including Vento controller, Signo R90, Signo Décor and Aero X1050. These solutions will be presented with the focus remaining on the broader access control challenges Indian enterprises are looking to address, including secure credentialing, system modernisation and scalable access management.
