Airtel Launches India’s First Fully-Managed Zero Trust Security Platform for Hybrid Enterprises

Airtel Secure Workforce aims to help enterprises strengthen cyber resilience, ensure DPDP compliance, and optimise security costs by up to 30%

Bharti Airtel has launched Airtel Secure Workforce, which it describes as India’s first fully-managed and unified Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) security platform designed to secure enterprises operating with hybrid workforces.

Developed by the Airtel Business division, the platform combines secure connectivity, managed cybersecurity, and 24x7 monitoring to help enterprises protect users, devices, applications, networks, and data against increasingly sophisticated AI-driven cyberattacks.

According to Airtel, the platform has been designed to address growing enterprise challenges such as fragmented security tools, alert fatigue, compliance requirements, and cybersecurity talent shortages. The solution is also built to support compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).

The company said Airtel Secure Workforce offers enterprises a unified dashboard providing visibility across endpoints, users, networks, applications, and data. It also enables organisations to monitor unsanctioned cloud and AI applications while strengthening endpoint detection, response, and secure remote access capabilities.

“Enterprises today are under mounting pressure to protect end users and devices in the constantly-evolving, targeted, AI-powered attacks,” said Sharat Sinha.

He added, “Building on our leadership in secure connectivity and cybersecurity, we have designed Airtel Secure Workforce to protect users, data and devices anytime, anywhere. The solution offers end-to-end protection that combines connectivity and managed security backed by 24x7 expert vigilance. Its unified approach will help us deliver maximum value to our enterprise customers enabling them to unlock up to 30% optimisation in their security spends and stay focused on their business growth, confident that they are protected.”

Airtel stated that the platform is powered by its pan-India network infrastructure and managed security expertise. The company also highlighted audit-grade logging, structured incident workflows, and data movement controls as key features supporting governance and compliance.

As part of the launch, Airtel Business has also introduced the Airtel Secure Workforce Centre of Excellence (CoE), a live environment hosted on Airtel Cloud that allows enterprises to experience and test the platform before large-scale deployment.

The launch reflects the growing enterprise focus on Zero Trust frameworks amid rising cybersecurity incidents, expanding digital infrastructure, and increasing adoption of AI-enabled technologies across Indian businesses.
