Through its CSR arm, Supertron Foundation, the company continues to drive meaningful change across key areas such as education, healthcare, skill development, and community welfare focusing on underserved and rural communities
Supertron Electronics, one of India’s leading IT distribution companies, has reinforced its commitment to inclusive growth through impactful CSR initiatives, investing ₹2.59 crore in FY 2024–25 and positively impacting over 500 beneficiaries across the country. Through its CSR arm, Supertron Foundation, the company continues to drive meaningful change across key areas such as education, healthcare, skill development, and community welfare focusing on underserved and rural communities.
A key part of Supertron Foundation’s CSR efforts is its association with Antyodoy Anath Ashram, Paunsi, which has been supporting abandoned children since 1995 in West Bengal. In October 2022, the Foundation took over the Ashram’s daily financial responsibilities, ensuring its smooth functioning. It has since introduced a Computer Empowerment Centre with more than 60 schools under this project and more than 45 thousand beneficiaries to promote digital learning and motivation among children. To strengthen the education ecosystem Supertron is building modern school infrastructure including Supertron – Khagendra Sishu Siksha Kendra and supporting another school in Birbhum serving 250 students. The Foundation also runs six crèches benefiting around 180 children, and midday meal programs for students and elderly communities.
“Our CSR efforts are driven by a simple goal – to empower individuals and uplift communities. Through focused initiatives in education, healthcare, and skill development, we aim to create opportunities that lead to long-term change.”
-V. K. Bhandari, Chairman & Managing Director, Supertron Electronics
In a significant community-driven initiative, Supertron Foundation successfully organised its third mass wedding ceremony in collaboration with Antyodoy Anath Ashram, Paunsi. The event brought together 13 couples from economically weaker sections across Birbhum, Purba Medinipur, and South 24 Parganas, enabling them to begin their married lives with dignity. Notably, V. K. Bhandari, Chairman & Managing Director, Supertron Electronics, personally performed the ‘kanyadaan’ for a tribal couple, reflecting the company’s deep-rooted commitment to social inclusion.
In the healthcare space, Supertron has organised medical camps, health awareness drives, and blood donation initiatives to improve access to basic healthcare services, especially for underserved communities and senior citizens. Skill development remains a strong focus area, with specialised training programs designed to enhance employability. Over 150 youth have been trained and certified through vocational programs, enabling them to secure stable incomes and build sustainable livelihoods.
