As CBO, Jaya Krishna will be responsible for unifying business development and digital marketing into a single growth function, deepening enterprise relationships, and accelerating product adoption across sectors.
Redacto, an AI-native privacy and data governance platform purpose-built for the Indian enterprise market, today announced the appointment of Jaya Krishna as its Chief Business Officer (CBO). In this role, Jaya will lead Redacto’s business development and digital marketing functions end-to-end, driving enterprise adoption as Indian organisations prepare to meet the requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act. His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Redacto, as demand for privacy infrastructure accelerates across BFSI, healthcare, and digital platforms with enterprises re-evaluating how they collect, process, and govern personal data ahead of DPDP enforcement.
“We built Redacto because Indian enterprises deserve privacy infrastructure that is architected for their regulatory and operational reality not retrofitted from legacy tools,” said Amit Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO, Redacto. “Our early customer traction has validated the platform. Now we are building a commercial engine with the same rigour someone who brings the builder mentality this stage demands, who knows how to take a category-defining product to market and make it accessible to every enterprise that needs it. I am excited to have Jaya join our leadership team as we shape the next chapter of Redacto’s growth and impact.”

“What drew me to Redacto is the clarity of the opportunity. Indian enterprises are facing a real, structural compliance gap, and this team has built a platform designed from the ground up to close it,” said Jaya Krishna, Chief Business Officer, Redacto. “I have spent years in the API and AI security space, helping enterprises discover and secure infrastructure they did not know was exposed. Privacy is the same kind of problem urgent, foundational, and massively underserved in India. This is not a global product localised for the Indian market; it is built ground-up for Indian regulatory and enterprise realities. The early customer traction proves the approach works. I am here to build the commercial engine that matches the strength of the product, and to make sure every enterprise that needs this platform can find it and adopt it without friction.”
