Brand set to launch smartphone with stylus, focusing on mass market accessibility in India

Alcatel, the French tech brand independently operated by TCL Communication under trademark licensing from Nokia, is marking its entry into the Indian market with a focus on providing premium technology at accessible prices. The brand is set to launch a smartphone equipped with a stylus, catering to the growing demand for premium features in the mass market.

Alcatel is committed to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, with all of its smartphones manufactured locally from day one. This move will support India’s goal of becoming a global hub for mobile technology manufacturing. The brand’s range of smartphones will combine advanced hardware, cutting-edge innovations, and stylish designs inspired by French heritage.

“At Alcatel, we believe that innovation should be within everyone’s reach. Our goal is to bring high-end features to consumers at affordable prices.” Atul Vivek, Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Alcatel.

The company’s strategy is to make premium technology accessible to a wider audience, especially as India continues to see rapid mobile adoption. Alcatel’s move into India also includes establishing a robust pan-India service network to ensure that consumers receive seamless support.

“Our focus is not just on introducing new devices but on shaping the future of mobile technology in India,” said Atul Vivek, Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Alcatel. “We are committed to delivering devices that redefine user experiences while keeping affordability at the core.”

“We see India as a key market with immense potential for growth. By manufacturing locally, we are ensuring efficiency, quality, and affordability for our consumers.” Ansh Rathi, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Alcatel.

“We are excited to introduce Alcatel in India. Our vision is to democratize innovation by bringing premium features to a larger audience. Our devices seamlessly combine style and performance, catering to urban aspirants, tech enthusiasts, and digital nomads alike,” said Atul Vivek. “We believe technology should not only be powerful but also reflect the latest trends. Our products will embody this philosophy and cater to the Indian market’s growing demand for both design and functionality.”

Ansh Rathi emphasized the company’s commitment to local manufacturing: “By embracing the ‘Made in India’ initiative, we’re not only enhancing supply chain efficiency but also ensuring superior product quality. This step aligns with our mission to provide affordable, high-tech devices to Indian consumers.”

Alcatel’s entrance into India brings a heritage of pioneering innovations and a strong commitment to consumer-centric values. The brand aims to redefine the smartphone experience in India, offering products with the latest tech and unmatched design.
