R&M appoints Radiant Info as its North India Distributor for SCS Biz

Set its eyes on tier II, III, and IV cities and townships.

Reichle & De-Massari, better known as R&M, who have been present in India for the past 15 years have now roped in New Delhi based Radiant Info Solution to drive their Structured Cabling System (SCS) business as their North India Territory Distributor.

“We are pleased to appoint Radiant Info as our Regional Distributor for North India for Enterprise Network Cabling Business. With Radiant, our distribution network has become stronger, we are confident their expertise reach will help us serve more customers & grow our business multifold,” shared Mr R. Murugesan, Senior Director Sales (Private Network) R&M India, through an email note.

In a bid to make a deeper penetration and to further R&M’s footprint particularly in Structured Cabling Systems Channel business, this move was made based on Radiant’s capabilities for driving channel markets as a value added IT network provider with strong support presence.
Talking to newsmen Mr Nishant Gupta, MD, Radiant said, “Our track record

shows our apt in marketing & positioning products of global brands in the domestic markets. Our company has an excellent team of technocrats who offer technical support to customers in no time.” While in 2003-04 the market value of this segment was estimated at around Rs 500 crores and is now poised for a quantum jump of Rs 3,500 crores. In view of this emerging volume, global players have started with customized products. He said, “On a very conservative note, this SCS segment is expected to witness a major boom in the domestic market in view of its vertical as well as horizontal growth. Though this system entered the Indian market at the beginning of 90’s but primarily was confined to Corporate, BPO and KPO sectors and now it is entering in the Residential, Hotels, Skyscraper Buildings and more. These cables are fast becoming a need of regular life for its ideal characteristic for Data Transfer, Voice Calling and Image Transfer with Total Security.”

Gupta said that they were been given the allowance to drive R&M products through Jammu & Kashmir to Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and the entire North Eastern region and are optimists that with R&M’s presence in the same market for long, it would enable them to penetrate in the tier two, three and four cities in view of their strong technical support system available. They are expecting to do business worth Rs 20 Crores over next few months.

R&M have further organized an intensive training program with Radiant for the North Indian System Integrators at the capital on May 17th 2019. At the culmination of the course, participants will go through an exam to enable them to qualify carrying out SCS enabled Projects and receive a Certificate of Recognition.
