How does AIM work?

This innovation helps IT managers to deploy the system for optimal management of ports, space and control in any type of network by keeping up with the future ongoing demands from 10G – 40G – 100G/400G networks. In addition to all of this, the PatchView+ ID Key, an innovative aspect of AIM, also detects attempts at unauthorized connections to the devices such as switches and servers in real–time.

The IP Discovery Module creates a visual map of the complete network which is also updated in real-time, from building and floor level, down to cabinet, rack, device, and port. AIM continuously monitors the network, including all physical connections and data centre environment sensors with detailed reports, alerts and notifications according to pre-set rules, providing vital information such as switch utilization, connectivity, work orders, and more.
