WatchGuard Names New Country Manager

Avinash Shrawan will look after company’s India relations, strategy and growth for channels, mid-market and enterprise businesses

WatchGuard has namedAvinash Shrawan as Country Manager, India and SAARC. Avinash will be responsible for the company’s India relations, strategy and growth for channels, mid-market and enterprise businesses.

Avinash has over 16 years of IT industry experience across Sales and Marketing functions. Prior to joining WatchGuard, Avinash was Director – Sales at Dassault Systemes, where during his three and half year stint he was instrumental in executing critical business transformation initiatives across 5 newest industry vertical business. He has had leadership roles before Dassault with Intuit and Symantec. At Symantec, Avinash drove a high level growth strategy from Tier 1, Tier 2 partners in the region as well as significant gains in market share for Storage and Security solutions.

“India has been a major market for WatchGuard, and with Avinash at the helm, WatchGuard hopes to scale its India business to greater heights,” said Scott Robertson, VP (Asia Pacific and Japan), WatchGuard Technologies.
