QueTell us about your business operations in India. Please elaborate on end-to-end integration business?

Our Indian operations include 450 people and cater to premium clients both globally as well as in India. We offer end-to-end i.e. 360 degree consultancy in software development and services. We provide product engineering services, onsite consulting, enterprise IT services and cater to various verticals such as mobile & telecom, retail, automobile, media & entertainment, financial services, logistics & distribution, healthcare, hi-tech manufacturing and ISV-s. In India we are majorly into process control automation too, handling turnkey projects in process control and automation.

QueWho are your clients in India and what business model you follow?

NHPC, SAIL, AMTRAK, Indian Railways, HP,WEBEL and others. We also provide services and support to Mazda, Verio, Dell and many other top MNC clients.

QueGive us an overview of company growth what are you expecting in the next two years?

The Company has grown since 1996 and expanding its domains in keeping with customer needs and global trends. We have grown expertise in new domains like mobile apps, cloud, big data and BI etc.

QueTell us about your future plans, competition and global footprint.

In coming years we want to address SME segment to expand our base and leverage our footprints in the US market; and also expand in new geographies like Africa, Asia and parts of Europe. We also want to build more specialized skills in mobile, cloud, BG and BI to name a few. We are into premium market though competition is getting daily tougher and still tougher.

QueWho are your major customers in America?

We have had Fortune 1000 clients such as Conagra, Dell, IBM, Verio, Mazda, VMWare, Shoppertrac, Renesas and so on and so forth.

QueWhat are the technologies that InterraIT is focussing on?

More important among many technologies we are focusing on mobility, cloud, ERP, Big Data, Business Intelligence etc. I suppose mobility, cloud and big data are the three areas we are developing in. We are onto some niche R&D development linked with certain projects, confidential at this stage.

QueTell us about some of your HR practices that the company is following to retain employees?

We treat employees with respect and affection. Trust begets trust. We consider them like assets like Infosys who showed them even on asset list. There is a lot of alignment and engagements with the employees, which are intended to make them more fulfilled and productive. We focus on empowerment, team building, trust and training enhancement on continuing basis.
