VMware Demonstrates Solutions at vForum Mumbai

VMware hosted over 3,700 CIOs, IT practitioners, partners and influencers at its annual vForum event in Mumbai. Held over two and a half days, from October 27th to October 29th, the event showcased new products, services and partner updates from VMware designed to help customers transform their businesses and embrace a new model for IT.

This year’s vForum featured senior executives including Raghu Raghuram, executive vice president and general manager, SDDC; Sanjay Poonen, executive vice president and general manager, EUC; and Arun Parameswaran, managing director, VMware India. Their keynotes brought to life VMware’s software-defined approach to running and building applications, and showcased how VMware is enabling these applications to be delivered through business mobility with security from the device to the cloud.

At the ‘IT Excellence Awards for 2015’, that were presented on the eve of vForum, some of India’s leading CIOs and organizations were recognized for the steps they took in being brave and embracing a new model of IT. Over 30 awards were presented at the gala awards function at the JW Marriott Sahar, Mumbai.

VMware will be showcasing the content and messaging from vForum across the country at its VSS events in New Delhi (November 17), Bangalore (November 20) and Chennai (November 24) to share the knowledge, insights and tools with customers to help them fulfill their IT goals and inspire IT innovation within their organizations.
