VMware bags ‘2017 Enterprise Mobility Management Provider of the Year’ Award

VMware, Inc. has announced that it has been named ‘Enterprise Mobility Management Provider of the Year’ by Frost & Sullivan for the second consecutive year. This accolade was given out at Frost & Sullivan’s India Digital Transformation Awards.

The Frost & Sullivan India Digital Transformation Awards, previously known as the India ICT Awards, celebrate companies and individuals that have pushed boundaries of excellence and successfully delivered business outcomes using digital technologies and techniques in India.

“The growing millennial workforce is looking for workplace solutions that mirror the mobility they enjoy outside of work and deliver the same simplicity as consumer technology. This is driving the need for digital transformation in India. To help our customers meet these demands, VMware manages more than 2.5 million devices in India, making it one of the largest markets for our end-user computing segment,” said Arun Parameswaran, Managing Director, VMware India. “This award reflects our dedication in empowering our customers to build a digital workspace through innovative and customer-centric products.”

“Given the strategic imperative of VMware to provide an all-encompassing mobility portfolio to help enterprises be more connected in a ubiquitous mobile world, VMware is continuously expanding its enterprise mobility management portfolio into unified endpoint management and delivering enhanced value to end users through a broader Digital Workspace solution. VMware delivers innovations that take inspiration from the world of consumer technologies to simplify the way end-users interact with key end-user services and the way IT manages end-users, devices and applications,” said Benoy C.S., Director & Business Unit Head, Digital Transformation Practice, Frost & Sullivan.
