SME Channel Conducts ‘Channel Accelerator Awards 2022’

SME Channels has successfully conducted its “Channel Accelerator Awards 2022” event at Hotel Eros, Nehru Place, New Delhi on 25th November 2022. The premiere event from SME Channels establishes a deeper connect with the top partners, while making meaningful deliberations on the growth drivers of the IT Industry.

Under the theme “Digital Acceleration and Channel Opportunity”, leading partners congregated at the event to brainstorm their growth strategy for the future. The event saw robust participation from the Partner Community and leading vendors across the country.

Designed to give direction to the channel partners to address the emerging market, the event provided a yeoman’s service to the partner community in recognizing and awarding the best 100 partners and vendors for their valuable contributions to drive growth.

Sanjay Mohapatra, Chief Editor, SME Channels, kick-started the gala event with a warm welcome note. The keynote address was delivered by K. Neelakantan, Channel & Alliances Leader, Palo Alto Networks followed by an industry presentation by Rajesh Chhabra, Sales Director, South Asia and Global Business Development Leader Inside sales, Acronis.

While the addresses by top industry leaders provided food for thought,  Padma Shri Poet Shri Surender Kumar Sharma treated the audience with his insightful comic interludes.

The event was marked by two immensely beneficial panel discussions and multiple industry presentations and most notably, a fire-side chat with SME Channel’s Chief Editor, Sanjay Mohapatra. Moderated by industry expert Prasenjit Mukherjee, the first panel session on “Technology Acceleration and Partners Opportunity,” had distinguished panelists including Gurpreet Singh, MD, Arrow PC; Rajiv Kumar, CEO, Proactive Data; Kota Subrahmanya, Director, Central Data Systems Pvt. Ltd; Vineet Kshirsagar, Country Director – Public Sector, Palo Alto Networks; and Venkatesh Rajeswaran, President – Enterprise Business Group, Redington India. The second panel discussion on “Need of Channel Skilling to Accommodate New Technology Adoption” was moderated by Rahul Goswami, Associate General Manager, Marketer. Poet. Customer Evangelist, HCLTech.

The highlight of the event SME Channels Accelerators Awards has been the announcement of the awards. Over 100 Top Partners and most innovative vendors were awarded in various categories for their innovative solutions that added value to the channel to solve customer problems.

The event witnessed robust participations from the Partners as well as Vendors.

The closing remarks were delivered by Sanjib Mohapatra, Publisher, SME Channels.

The gala event was marked by the strong presence of over 300 key partners of the US$ 50 billion strong domestic IT industry, traversing specialised areas of digital transformation, cloud, cyber security, automation, AI,  etc. The award ceremony drew participants representing various organizations ranging from ISVs, VARs, Consultants, SIs, Local/Regional/National Resellers, Distributors, Industry Associations, and Vendors.

The event provided a perfect platform for partners to learn how to accelerate digital transformation and encash upon the business opportunities borne out of the digital revolution. Participants were offered a rare chance to strengthen their partner engagement through high-voltage business networking.

SME Channels, which has been a real connect between the IT vendors and channel partners, has not only served as a benchmark for partner education for capacity building so as to cater to the needs of the end customers, when it comes to futuristic technologies.
