SeekSherpa Gets Entry into Google for Entrepreneurs Exchange

SeekSherpa, a mobile platform that connects travellers and locals over unique experiences, has been selected to the Google for Entrepreneurs Exchange Program to be held in Dubai by Astrolabs between Dec 5-11, 2016.

SeekSherpa (SeekSherpa.com) is one of 12 selected from a batch of over 100 applicants from the USA, Europe, Middle East North Africa, and rest of Asia – the only ones from India.

The event is focussed on travel entrepreneurship, building B2B contacts in the travel and hospitality world, helping take Dubai to 20 Million inbound tourists by 2020, working closely with leadership from Emirates group and Jumeirah group, and establishing enough of a network to go global soon.

SeekSherpa works with interested locals (Sherpas) in a city in co-curating unique experiences at the right price and time for curious travellers looking for local immersion in the city they are travelling to.

Food Walks, Heritage Walks, and Photography walks are some of our popular offerings out of a vast range that includes farm visits, to wine tastings, to archaeology walks and cemetery visits. SeekSherpa covers a broad range of unique activities on its tours.

SeekSherpa has serviced over 4000 customers since January 2015 and operates in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Agra with a customer rating of 4.6 on 5 from over 350 reviews. SeekSherpa enjoys a very healthy repeat rate. At any given time SeekSherpa carries the largest bookable inventory of unique local tours and activities across India.

SeekSherpa works closely with locals who have deep knowledge about the city’s key elements (places, activities, experiences) that would be of interest to a traveller or a local.
The SeekSherpa founders Dhruv Raj Gupta and Sukhmani Singh underwent acceleration program with VentureNursery.

They were later funded by members associated with VentureNursery.
