R&M empowers its partners, SIs with Qualified Partner Program

Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M), based in Wetzikon, Switzerland is an independent Swiss family business specializing in information and communications technology. The company concentrates on the development and manufacturing of cabling technology for communications networks. The company is fully owned by the Reichle family and has more than 900 employees worldwide.

R&M was founded by Hans Reichle and Renato De-Massari in 1965 as a two-man business.

Originally R&M was set up to develop this product and market it throughout Switzerland. The company then broadened its range of products and services to cabling technology for data and voice networks as a whole, based on copper and optical fiber cabling (glass and polymer fibers). One of the firm’s core products is its Cat. 6 modules for Ethernet networks, which is widely used in networks all over the world. The product’s success was founded on, among other things, its sales partnership with IBM, which lasted many years (1993–1999). Although R&M is a joint-stock company, it is not quoted on the Stock Exchange.

R&M designs products for private networks, data centers and public network carriers using network cabling technology. Their portfolio for public network carriers includes FTTx solutions for central office, outside plant and on-site applications. They also offers fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) products. The firm is a gold sponsor of the Fiber-to-the-Home-Council Europe, an organization promoting the installation of ultra-fast fiber-optic networks linking companies and private households. From the start of its India operations in 2006 it has inched its way into the top two in cabling market. So far, R&M is present in all Tier I cities across India. R&M also has a demo and training centre in Bangalore for its partners and end users.
R&M India conducted a Qualified Partner Program (QPP) training event in Jaipur (Rajasthan) on April 29th 2017 for its Regional channel partners.

This event was held in hotel Radission blu Jaipur, As R&M India’s technical director Shajan George along with North Regional head Pankaj Bhardwaj conducted training for the channel partners for the first time in Rajasthan.

Shajan George runs R&M’s QPP program for India and advises on best practices for installation and design. He also is in charge of maintaining superior technical support standards across the country and advises on new product development in R&M India with the objective of imparting enhanced knowledge on structured cabling to the engineers and technicians of its System Integrators.

The training program was conducted by Shajan George, specialized in structured cabling domain, who gave the participants in-depth information on the technical aspect of the subject, evaluated trends for both Copper and Fiber products, and trained them to design, install and conduct post-implementation testing of passive networking components for Infrastructure Projects.

After the program, participants will be in a position to validate projects where R&M’s structured cabling products are implemented, with 5 years of R&M Freenet product warranty, 25 years of R&M Freenet system warranty & Lifetime R&M Freenet application warranty.

Partners who attended the QPP were gifted R&M’s one of the cream product “FM45 CONNECTOR” at the end of the session by the regional distributor.

Partners who won the cabling contest during the session were given prizes by Sachin Sehgal.
