With two built-in SFP+ based 10GbE ports while keeping the same price tag as the previous TS-EC1280U, the TS-EC1280U R2 enhances IOPS-demanding applications such as virtualization, databases, multimedia online editing, and large file transfer workflows.

The TS-EC1280U R2 provides models powered by an Intel Xeon E3-1246 v3 3.5 GHz processor and 4GB DDR3 ECC RAM, and further adds options with an Intel Core i3 3.5 GHz processor and 8GB DDR3 non-ECC or 4GB DDR3 ECC RAM. The powerful hardware specification of TS-EC1280U R2 makes it a reliable and optimal storage solution for business applications and large-scale storage projects. Moreover, the TS-EC1280U R2 offers not only four inbuilt Gigabit Ethernet ports but also two 10GbE SFP+ ports to fully support 10GbE high-speed networks, providing businesses with more options to satisfy demands for high-speed Ethernet solutions.
