Prysm makes Visual Workplace available on Third-Party Displays

Prysm is announcing Prysm Visual Workplace compatibility across third-party displays. At its ISE stand, #11 – B130, third-party displays will be on-hand for demonstrations. In its eight-year history of participating at ISE, this marks the first time Prysm will demonstrate the benefits that Prysm Visual Workplace delivers on third-party hardware, alongside its own displays at the show.

“The ability to use third-party displays with Prysm’s Visual Workplace solution is a win-win for all involved,” said Ira M. Weinstein, senior analyst and partner at Wainhouse Research. “This option allows channel partners to add value by selecting and installing display systems designed for specific situations and environments. The real winners, however, will be the end user customers as they can now utilize Prysm’s collaboration technology with their existing meeting room investments, saving both time and money.”

“The real-time collaboration benefits of Prysm Visual Workplace across any device and location is very appealing to our customers,” said Dale Bottcher, senior vice president for AVI-SPL. “Having the opportunity to utilize Prysm Visual Workplace with or without Prysm branded displays offers a flexibility our customers demand. These types of choices enable us to help our customers maximize their current technology investment and enhance their team collaboration experiences.”

“We can now turn nearly any conference room with a modern interactive LCD display into a Prysm Visual Workplace enabled room,” said Paige O’Neill, CMO, Prysm. “Prysm stands ready to enable businesses to get to the results that matter quicker, while enhancing employee satisfaction by delivering an immersive collaboration experience, regardless of the available display.”

Prysm Visual Workplace:

  • Allows collaboration from any location and on any device, including mobile devices
  • Works with Prysm branded and third-party displays
  • Connects disparate teams, by providing real-time immersive collaboration sessions

The Prysm Application Suite (PAS) can be enabled on a variety of Commercial / industrial grade LCD displays. To deliver the best results, third-party displays are recommended to be 4K or UHD resolution LCDs and offer a Display Port 1.2 and a USB 2.0 based touch sensor interface.
