Power2SME conducts SME Transformation Camp in Faridabad

The event witnessed participation from 80 SMEs in Faridabad

Power2SME has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with FMC (Foundation of MSME Clusters) to organize a series of SME Transformation Camps pan India. The second event of the series was organized in collaboration with IDFC bank and Manufacturer’s association, Faridabad. The ceremony was inaugurated by the chief guest-Shri Narender Gupta, State Treasurer, Haryana, BJP.

Under the SME Transformation Camps initiative, FMC and Power2SME will reach out to and bring together a large base of SME groups by conducting a series of on-ground activations and events throughout the year. With an objective of empowering SMEs digitally Power2SME will educate SMEs on technological means to address the issues related to raw material procurement and working capital loans.

Sudha Sarin, VP & Marketing, Power2SME added thatThe first series of SME Transformation Event in Kolkata was a huge success where we observed small and medium businesses from different manufacturing industries participating in the event. This gave us confidence to further conduct the second leg of the camp in Faridabad which is one of the largest steel markets in India. The MSME sector in the city is grappled with challenges such as raw material procurement, financial support and digital literacy. With a motive of addressing these issues via SME transformation camps, we are aiming at equipping MSMEs in the city with required skills and knowledge to help them improve profit margin, business efficiency and make them more bankable.”

At Faridabad, the SME Transformation Camp was attended by approx. 80 SMEs. Power2SME hosted a discussion on how technology can help business grow, offering opportunities and strategies which will indirectly empower SME’s. The core focus of the discussion was on the benefits of technology up-gradation, raw material procurement and other aspects that SMEs can leverage to enhance their production efficiency and market reputation.
