Plustek has unveiled its SmartOffice PS406, targeted at the front office usage of the SMEs, hospitals, law firms, CPA firms, BFSI, education, health` care, government, hospitality industry, service centers etc.

SmartOffice PS406, that comes with 100 sheet ADF and is a highly versatile and affordable single pass duplex color scanner in the sheet-fed range announced the press release.

Connected with USB 2.0, it does not require any warm up time. With speed up to 80 images per minute and a duty cycle of up to 4000 sheets, this high-volume, sheet-fed scanner makes it easy to capture all your critical documents including the thick embossed ID cards and driving licenses.

Among the work group scanners available today in the market, the SmartOffice PS406 with the Plustek DocAction, Plustek DI Capture, OCR and BCR software, ushers a new era in the compact ADF range. The users get image enhancement functionality as well as the option of scanning directly to Searchable PDF file, Multi Tiff File Format, print or batch scanning, etc with just a single touch.

The inbuilt TWAIN and Windows WIA drivers enable the scanner to be compatible with virtually any imaging software. On top of everything, the SmartOffice PS406 is eco-friendly as it consumes less than 0.5 watts in standby mode and while operating, power consumption is less than 24 watts. It meets the ErP and Energy Star standard certification. All of its components do not contain any mercury ingredients.

Priced at MRP INR 43,432 the SmartOffice PS406 scanner is available through authorized Plustek distributors, resellers and online retailers in India.
