Plustek has extended its SmartOffice ADF scanners family with the addition of SmartOffice PS286 Plus.
SmartOffice PS286 Plus can scan a variety of document till A3 size including plastic cards and business cards at an optimum resolution of 600 dpi announced the press release.
Targeted at the front office usage of the SMEs, hospitals, law firms, CPA firms, BFSI, education, health care, government, hospitality industry, service centers etc., the SmartOffice PS286 Plus, is single pass duplex color scanner in the sheet-fed range.
The specialty of this scanner is that with Plustek’s special protection sheet, A3-sized document can be easy scanned and generated side by side in a joined image. The user just needs to fold the A3 paper into A4 size and place it into the protection sheet to scan.
Select ADF duplex under scan type, automatic size as page size, and tick the check box of merge pages for scanning. Manually select horizontal or vertical as the merging mode, and the scanned output will be joined into an A3 size document in a single pass.
The user can put Plastic Cards for scanning them with ease. The business cards can be scanned 20 sheets at a time in portrait or landscape position. Plastic cards can be scanned one at a time in landscape position.
Connected with USB 2.0, it takes a high duty cycle of 1500 sheets per day. With speed up to 50 images per minute this high-volume, sheet-fed scanner plays a critical role in your document management.
