Nikon establishes Instruments Business Technical Centre in Bengaluru

Nikon India 100% subsidiary of Nikon Corporation Tokyo has announced the inauguration of its Instruments Business Technical Centre in Bengaluru.

The new facility was inaugurated by Kazuo Ninomiya – Managing Director, Nikon India, Nakajima Masao – Sr. Vice President, Industrial Metrology Business Unit , Hiroshi Ohseki – Director, Instruments Division, Nikon Singapore Pte.  Ltd., Akira Muramoto – Vice President, Instruments Business Unit.

Speaking on the occasion, Kazuo Ninomiya, Managing Director – Nikon India said, “We take immense pleasure in inaugurating our new Instruments Business Technical Centre in the city of Bengaluru. We take this moment of reckoning to thank and express our gratitude to staff and partners who have contributed and supported us in this remarkable journey”.

 Masao Nakajima Sr. Vice President, Industrial Metrology Business Unit said, “It’s our endeavor to cater to the discerning needs of our customers and as a step towards achieving this goal; we have invested in Instruments Business Technical Centre in Bengaluru. Our growth depends on the solutions we provide to our customers and for sustainable growth of our business we are not leaving any stone unturned to achieve this goal.

 Nikon Instruments Business Unit has its first set up in Gurugram and this second facility is a significant step to ensure improved regional customer interface in India. The Technical Centre will provide solutions like information sharing, professional services etc. which the industry demands today. Nikon hopes that with this facility customers will have opportunity to understand the performance and benefits of systems and technology Nikon’s instrumentation business has to offer. At this facility Nikon propose to encourage and maximize customer interface by undertaking:

  • Demonstration
  • Sample checking
  • Product Training
  • Together with customers and distributors identify New Applications areas
  • Extend support to small manufacturers by offering measurement trials
  • Support & Encourage Product design initiatives by New/ Young entrepreneurs and Engineers as a part of Skill development program introduced by government of India

At the time of inauguration, Hiroshi Ohseki – Director, Instruments Division, Nikon Singapore Pte. Ltd. Said, “Considering the rapid Industrial growth forecast of Indian manufacturing industries, Nikon Corporation has plans to strengthen the business support organization in key industrial regions of India. As a Regional Business Management Centre for ASEAN, INDIA and OCENIA region, Nikon Singapore is committed to extend all resource to maintain highest level experience for the customers and distributors in India.”

The Technology Center showcases latest measurement and inspection Technology Solution from Nikon portfolio. Highlights of the said Technology exhibit at the Technical Centre are:

  • High Precision Non-Contact Laser Scanning
  • High Resolution CNC Vision Metrology
  • High performance Microscopy
