Newgen, HP come together to tap the Digital India Opportunity

The two companies to work jointly in Data Digitization and Archiving

Newgen Software Technologies has announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HP Inc. India, to tap the rapidly growing opportunities from Indian Government’s Digital India initiative. As per MoU, HP Inc. India will be leveraging Newgen’s industry leading OmniScan and OmniDocs solutions to automate digitization of records of their customer organizations and ensure their archiving into a central repository.

Newgen Software and HP Inc. India both believe that the Union Government’s Digital India push opens huge opportunities for digitization and archiving of records across central and various state Governments. Both organisations expect major opportunities coming from sectors such as Banking, Financial and Insurance Services, Education and Manufacturing as well.

The partnership will enable Newgen Software and HP Inc. India to jointly offer document management, business process management and enterprise content management services for digitization projects to organizations in India. In fact, the partnership has already kicked off on ground with HP rolling out these new set of services and solutions in the state of Bihar to begin with.
