NetRack unveils iRack Block

NetRack stressed on use of eco-friendly technologies, makes a strong statement with iRack Block

NetRack has displayed iRack Block, specially designed for in-house data center and infra capsules at the Datacenter Dynamics (DCD) converged conference in Bangalore.

Besides, a vivid demonstration of iRack Block, an insightful session was given by Ravi Raj, Brand Head, Director Sales & Support at NetRack on Airflow Management. Delving the advantages of iRack Block and the importance of Airflow management in the data center, Ravi Raj, Brand Head, Director Sales & Support at NetRack said “Today IT infrastructure are becoming compact as well as complex. Multiple cables, switches, servers add woes to the data centers. Effective usage of hot aisle containment or cold aisle containment can help a lot in saving cost and increasing productivity from your IT infrastructure.

For small setups we come up with iRack Block supported by Climaveneta’s unique In-Rack cooling unit which works on inverter scroll technology, this advanced technology helps in reducing the cost and increasing the efficiency as the compressor modulates the frequency based on the heat load inside the Rack.”

Straining on the importance of going green and adopting environment friendly practices, NetRack’s iRack Block series uses the R410a refrigerant which helps in reducing the carbon footprint and is eco-friendly in nature.

Aimed to revolutionize the data center infra capsule, iRack Block is equipped with multiple ‘intelligent’ features and configured with self-cooled, self-contained and self-powered features. The In Row unit used here is 300mm wide taking bare minimum space and can be configured from 7kW to 55kW, depending upon the datacenter requirements. The Racks are IP 50 rated and can bear load capacity up to 1500Kgs.

To complete intelligence in iRack Block, NetRack integrate a PAC Unit, UPS & battery bank, Intelligent PDU for power, surveillance & environmental management, KVM & console for server management, Intelligent rack access for physical security .

“We always strive to bring the best of our products to this gathering and we are pleased to receive such an overwhelming response for our environment friendly initiative this year at Datacenter Dynamics Converged Conference.” he added.

NetRack is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company and has also received the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems certification and OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. NetRack’s most of the products are comprised with UL certification that assures best-in-class products for the data center requirements.
