NETGEAR India will focus on reaching out to more tier 2 and 3 cities and expand the service infrastructure, and aims to reach 100 cities within the next two years. This was announced by NETGEAR Founder and CEO Patrick Lo who recently visited India to meet the India team, customers and channel partners.
He further termed the growth of NETGEAR in India as strong and said they are bullish about expanding India business and want to continue growing at 2x the market growth.
Patrick Lo said, “The trend going forward is in creating a better customer experience in connected home and connected offices. NETGEAR is creating industry leading products for home networking with speeds, range, manageability and compatibility like never before. NETGEAR is also unveiling an IoT ecosystem which will drive the homes of the future.”
He also hosted a series of seminars named ‘Vision of Smart IT’, where he shared his vision of the future and evolution of IT.
He added, “On the business infrastructure side, NETGEAR is focusing on 10 G, PoE and business wireless to drive penetration into SMB and SME. Focus is also on creating reliable and easy to configure storage solution for SMBs.”
He also emphasised on linking more and more people using broadband infrastructure through NETGEAR, and also committed to producing tech advanced products for everyone who wants to connect to the internet.“NETGEAR is a long term player in Indian market. We are excited about Digital India vision of Prime Minister Modi and we are working towards reaching more people to enable them to go digital,” Lo added.
NETGEAR committed to expand its foot print in India, and is waiting for the right opportunity to manufacture their product in India. Digital India is a vision which is set by Prime Minister Modi for India, the target of which is e-inclusion of more and more citizens of India.
