NETGEAR Plans to Garner 20 Percent Market Share

Extends its reach to north east market, plans to rope in regional distributors and resellers

In a bid to maximize its reach at pan India level, NETGEAR has entered into the North East India market. As a part of its expansion plans, the NETGEAR plans to tap North East Market. The company has chalked out aggressive strategies with its new regional distribution model and aims to garner 20 percent market share in the current fiscal.

On the occasion, Subhodeep Bhattacharya, Regional Director, India & SAARC, NETGEAR, said, “North East India market presents a very large opportunity for NETGEAR and we are working to increase our presence here. We are working to develop the distribution channel, train the partners and will shortly be announcing some recruitment plans. As a part of our immediate growth strategy, we want to expand our reach to all major cities in the North East.”

Currently NETGEAR has 40 sub distributors and 1200 active retailers across India. NETGEAR has beefed up investments in post-sales support. Besides 30 service centers and a hotline number, NETGEAR is dedicated to cater to all the requirements of its esteemed Indian customers.

“Indian market is growing on Broadband adoption and SMB technology adoption and we believe that this is going to drive growth in India for some years to come. We are focused on bringing the best products for this category,” added Bhattacharya.”
