Micromax Forays into PC Business

Micromax Informatics forays into the clam shell laptop category with the launch of the Canvas Lapbook.

As per the press release the Canvas Lapbook is uniquely designed and weighs just 1.3 kilograms to ensure the ease of use and portability. With the aim to expand the personal computing market and increase domestic technology adoption, the Canvas Lapbook offers great specifications at disruptive price addressing the specific needs of the first time buyers who are looking for a productivity device which is portable, smart and affordable. Powered by Intel Quad Core Processor and pre-bundled with genuine Windows 10, the device draws its appeal from providing productivity, entertainment and connectivity on the go.

Commenting on the launch Shubhajit Sen, CMO, Micromax Informatics Limited, said, “We are pleased to partner with Intel and Microsoft to bring a device for our customers which gives them complete freedom – freedom from piracy as it comes with genuine Windows 10, freedom from restrictions thanks to the super-fast Intel processor, long-lasting battery & lightweight design giving them freedom to do whatever they want because it is their own personal device.
