Kodak Alaris seek to expand channel, partnerships network

Kodak Alaris in a tactical move to grow and expand its partner network, embarked on another edition of its highly successful Information Management Partnership Yatra. The Yatra, an initiative titled the ‘Kodak Alaris Information Management Partnership Yatra 2016’ kicked off in Sri Lanka this evening, and will then travel through multiple cities in India in the coming months.

“Sri Lanka is the pearl of the Indian Ocean, and has historical bonds with India. For Kodak Alaris India Pvt. Ltd., Sri Lanka is an even more special place because we have forged a solid business partnership with our exclusive distributor – Nine Hearts Imaging, Colombo, over the last one decade”, observed Vivek Naidu, Vice President, Kodak Alaris India, in Colombo today, while declaring the Yatra 2016 open. He observed, that “With their exemplary understanding of the Imaging business, Nine Hearts Imaging have proven to be an able and proficient business partner for us, especially given that they carry the Imaging DNA in their organization and people. With their help and association, Kodak has established a string of marquee customers in Financial Services, Government and Utilities sectors in Sri Lanka. The goals for 2016 are even more challenging and we are confident, Nine Hearts Imaging and our partners will scale these with aplomb.”, he stated.

The Colombo leg of Yatra 2016, aimed to engage with Nine Hearts Imaging and the 15 business partners and associates, across the island nation. The Yatra will serve as an interactive platform to share Kodak Alaris’ strategy for the New Year, as well as enlighten partners on the wide range of Kodak Alaris scanning solutions.

The event on February 18 also saw Nine Hearts Imaging and Kodak Alaris recognize and felicitate some of the best results achieved by channel partners in Sri Lanka for their role in the promotion and selling of Kodak Alaris ’innovative portfolio of products.

With a view to constantly refreshing its hardware and software offerings to help customers transform and modernize their businesses, Kodak Alaris recently announced its partnership with Google, wherein it eased the way users can connect to document scanning devices from any type of computing environment by taking advantage of Brillo and Weave, the key pillars of Google’s new Internet of Things (IoT) platform. 2016, saw Kodak Alaris bag the Scanner Line of the Year award from Buyers Laboratory, LLC (BLI) for superior performance across its broad portfolio of document scanners. The previous year also saw Kodak Alaris win the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Document Capture Solutions Award. In line with the above global initiatives and announcements, the ‘Kodak Alaris Information Management Partnership Yatra 2016’ will further serve to communicate and enlighten the product and strategy roadmap to its partners across the India clusters.

Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Naidu, Vice President – Information Management at Kodak Alaris India said, “After the successful completion of the ‘Kodak Alaris Information Management Partnership Yatra 2015, which saw over 150 partners attend the partner meets across India, we are extremely happy to commence the second edition of this Yatra here from Sri Lanka, which is an important market for us in our overall scheme for the SAARC business for Kodak Alaris. The ‘Kodak Alaris Information Management Partnership Yatra 2016’, is an extension of our 2015 strategy to expand further.
