Monotech Systems was the distributor of Konica Minolta in India
Konica Minolta wanted to strengthen its leadership position in the Indian market, and therefore the company acquired the Production Printing business of Monotech Systems. This acquisition would create a multi-channel network of direct and indirect business across India. With the combination of direct and indirect channels, the Indian market will be supported by Konica Minolta trained Sales & Service team of over 400 professionals, making it the largest team supporting Digital Production Printing business anywhere in India.
Along with that Konica Minolta will also operate out of 40 locations providing direct Sales & Service support to its customers. All Konica Minolta customers with Monotech Systems will be transferred to Konica Minolta India. Similarly, the staff serving to production printing division of Monotech Systems will also be transferred to Konica Minolta.
The other three distributors HCL Infosystems Limited, KMI Business Technologies Private Limited and TechNova Imaging Systems Limited will continue to be its valued business associates and operate as earlier.
