Kaspersky Lab brings B2B distributors, customers together at Pitstop in Trivandrum

Kaspersky Lab has conducted a one-of-its-kind Customer Pitstop in Trivandrum. The event was held in association with its B2B distributor eCaps Computers India Private Limited, and Infocalix Technologies Private Limited, its B2B partner. The program was held at the Hilton Garden Inn on August 30, with over 40 prospective customers in attendance.

The Pitstop was held as a part of Kaspersky Lab’s focused goal of keeping the customer at the center of everything they do. It aided a dialogue between the customers’ needs, the distributors’ and partners’ in-depth knowledge and Kaspersky’s cutting edge solutions, thus opening doors to a world of limitless possibilities. Altaf Halde, Managing Director – South Asia, Kaspersky Lab, briefly touched upon Kaspersky’s wide portfolio of security solutions. Halde further explained how Kaspersky Labs’ enterprise services and solutions have changed the security landscape for numerous organisations across the continent. This was followed by an invigorating question and answer session, where the prospective customers didn’t just get their queries resolved but also gained a clearer understanding of how these solutions could positively impact their businesses. Gunasegharan (Director-eCaps) closed the session with a humble vote of thanks. This was followed by a grand cocktail and dinner spread, over which the group extended their very exciting interaction.

Altaf Halde, Managing Director, Kaspersky Lab, South Asia said, “Our objective is to educate end-customers on the current security challenges faced by corporates in India. Cyber criminals are getting smarter day by day and at the same time the impact of losses due to cyber-criminal activities is very high.”

He further added, “Our partner Infocalix Technologies is associated with us since long for Enterprise business with the aim to offer a broad range of solutions to our customers and work together to enlarge our reach to newer customers in Trivandrum particularly in the B2B space.”

Kaspersky Lab National Distributor eCaps Computers’ Director K. Gunasegharan said, “Being Kaspersky Lab’s distributor, this was a very exciting interaction for us. As we are in the middle of the supply chain, we have a unique understanding of both, the products and the customers. Infocalix Technologies has been doing a great job, and they have a huge appetite for growth. They have necessary infrastructure to support Kaspersky Lab customers. We are confident they will take Kaspersky Lab business to the next level in Trivandrum”

Thomas George, Managing Director, Infocalix Technologies said, “From the day we began organizing this event, we have been immensely enthusiastic & could feel the curiosity & urge in the customers to attend the event. It’s rare for an industry leader to be so proactive in educating end-customers. Right from identifying the participants to designing the structure of the event jointly with Kaspersky Lab and eCaps Computers, it has been a great experience. The Q&A session & offline interactions were especially fulfilling because it showed how well-informed and eager our prospective customers are in knowing more. There are a lot of positives we take from today and it will pave the path for our combined future plans”.

The event set the tone for Kaspersky Lab’s aggressive plans for the financial year, which includes entering many new markets with its exciting new products and staying a step ahead of its competitors. The unique strength of this event was the coming together of its most crucial associates– the distributor, the partner and the customer – for an engaging interaction. Going by the response, there certainly will be many more of these customer pitstops by Kaspersky Lab.
