James Brackenrig to Lead Eka’s Field Ops APAC Market

Appointed as vice president, field operations, APAC

Eka Software Solutions, provider of Smart Commodity Management software solutions, has appointed James Brackenrig as Vice President, Field Operations, Asia-Pacific. Brackenrig will lead Eka’s growing field operations organization from its regional Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.

“James has a proven track record of building world-class teams and delivering customer value,” said Greg Taylor, President & COO of Eka. “With full authority and accountability for Eka operations in the Asia-Pacific region, James and our growing team of experts will continue to elevate the delivery of Smart Commodity Management solutions to this thriving market and further extend Eka’s leadership.”

Working in Asia’s trading hub gave me a good understanding of the advantages that innovative technology provides to complex commodity trading operations,” said Manav Garg, CEO of Eka. “The experience I gained in Singapore was invaluable as we built Eka into the leading Smart Commodity Management software company.”

Brackenrig has spent seven years as vice president sales, managing director Pacific, of Infor where he led a team of over 100 staff across the region. Previously he was General Manager of Latin America and head of North American Operations for BindView Development Corporation in Texas. Prior to that he spent over seven years with Computer Associates/Sterling Software running sales in Asia. Brackenrig started his career at Ernst & Young in Asia.
