ICT industry Participates in BICSI India Conference

Expert sessions presented a wide array of IT infrastructure solutions

BICSI, the association supporting advancements in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) community, concluded the BICSI India District Conference & Exhibition 2015.

The conference agenda and keynote sessions addressed by stalwarts from the ICT industry created a constructive platform for the attending delegates; one that showcased latest innovations, best practices & standards and opportunities in the IT infrastructure industry. The delegates were largely represented by end-users, system integrators, installers, consultants, distributors and OEMs from the ICT community, members of BICSI and various other Indian IT and Software Industry Associations.

The symposium witnessed the presence of BICSI President-Elect, Brian Ensign, as he delivered the inaugural address where he focused on enhancing training and education to help members in India upgrade their skills and knowledge.

Paul Weintraub, Director of Global Development & Support, BICSI, shared captivating insights and addressed a wide array of technology perspectives.

The technical sessions at the conference focused on a conclave of topics from within the ICT spectrum, jointly addressed by more than 10 speakers.

Schneider Electric’s Director of Smart Cities and Special Projects Ravikant Malhan delivered an absorbing keynote address, highlighting initiatives and roadmap for the proposed Smart Cities project and the way ICT community can assist in achieving this vision.

While Ashok Srinivasan, Director of Technical Sales India & SAARC, CommScope, focused on intelligent building systems and how it can help improve energy efficiency, space utilization and workforce productivity.

Budhaditya Mukherjee, Country Product Manager, HP Networking India, shared interesting insights about the converged networking architecture that can deliver scale, security and manageability needed for cloud-based, video-centric, mobile applications.

“The BICSI Conference offered an engaging platform and presented a great opportunity for delegates to be edified by some of the most forward-thinking and motivational peers, as well as interact with a host of ICT professionals,” said Ketan Kothari, District Chair, BICSI India.
