HP boosts marketing with offers for students in India

Coinciding with the new academic year, HP Inc. India has announced a ‘Back to College’ campaign for students planning to buy new notebooks for their educational needs thus digitally empowering them for the future.

HP’s ‘Back to College campaign promises benefits of up to INR 11,998/- for the students who purchase select HP products, including the all new HP Pavilion x360 series, HP Pavilion series, HP All-in-Ones and HP Desktop. These benefits include additional on-site warranty for a nominal price that will keep their devices safe and secured for three years worth INR 5,999 for HPLaptops and INR 3,500 for HP Desktops, and additional HP accessories such as headphones, external hard-drives and Bluetooth speakers (1). Making it even easier for students to get their hands on an HP product – HP is giving several finance options to students buying any HP Laptop, Desktop or All-in-Ones series.

“The launch of our new HP portfolio comes at a time that is in-sync with the upcoming college year. The new HP Pavilion Premium notebook series has been designed to fit with the unique and hectic regimes covering their entire student-lifecycle.” said Anurag Arora, Category Head, Consumer Personal Systems, HP India. “The new Pavilion PC portfolio comes with a new design language featuring new convertibles, notebooks and desktops with sleek designs and more power ideal for students and families. The new portfolio lets students reflect their sense of style and delivers the power they need to be productive and entertained, at a price that delivers value. Under the new exciting offer, the HP Pavilion series will be bundled with trendy accessories such as Bluetooth speakers, HP headphones and HP External Hard-drives that will come handy for the students to store important documents, watching movies or listening to their favourite music.”, added Anurag.

The new HP products launched under this campaign include:

  • HP Pavilion x360: Offered in two color choices of Gold and Silver with a stylish new digital thread design on the keyboard deck, the 11.6” and 13.3” platforms come with a geared hinge inspired by the HP Spectre x360 to transition into four modes. HP Pavilion x360 series starts at INR 33390/-.
  • HP Pavilion Notebooks: Features upto 4GB Nvidia dedicated graphics, two new colors1, of Gold and Silver, the iconic digital thread design and a stylish Backlit Keyboard. HP Pavilion series starts at INR 47,190 /-. (2)
  • HP All-in-Ones: Powerful and features a new micro edge display option on the 23” diagonal model reduces the border width 75 percent to 6.4mm compared to the standard edge-to-edge display option at 26mm. HP All-in-Ones starts at INR 23,290 /-.(2)
  • HP Slimline Desktop: Playful, eye-catching tower design offers a 30 percent smaller footprint compared to the previous generation without sacrificing power. HP Desktop series starts at INR 22,490 /-

Additionally, HP has also introduced a new offer around its home printing range – the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage printer series. The new printers come with intuitive mobile printing features helping students and parents easily connect the printer with their mobile devices sitting anywhere in the home and print the assignments wirelessly in outstanding quality. With every new purchase of HP DeskJet Ink Advantage printers, customers can either opt for a free set of cartridges or an Arvind mills gift voucher.
