What is Home automation? Imagine that you’re driving home on a hot summer day. But rather than turn the air conditioner on when you get home and wait for your house to cool, you simply use your smart phone when you leave your office to tell your smart thermostat to lower the temperature.

In layman terms, the things that you plan to do in person is being done by devices (IoT) which you deploy. Or Eg:

  1. You no longer have to be present at your home to look after or safeguard your home –There are loads of devices which can protect your home against theft, Fire, Trespassing, Gas leakage & many more.
  2. Courier can be received through an alert. You can guide them to place the parcel at a designated place without your presence.
  3. Do you want to play lullabies to your toddler or keep an eye on your maid remotely? It’s possible!
  4. Listen to your favorite music as soon as you reach home
  5. Manage curtains, lights, AC, lock/unlock, record the TV shows….. Most of the things.

There is no shortage of possibilities for smart home IoT devices, and home automation seems to be the wave of the future.
