GIGABYTE to Hold DiY PC Tech Extravaganza

The one-day event is named PC Extreme

GIGABYTE Technology along with other IT hardware majors, is organizing a one-day event, named PC Extreme, at the retail outlet of Chennai-based The IT Depot.

The highlights of PC Extreme, among others, will be a demo of extreme overclocking (OC), a PC assembling contest, an experience zone where you can try your hands at some of the best PC components available in the market, Facebook activities, lucky draws and also, prizes and gifts that include PC components and the choicest goodies announced the press release.

Along with GIGABYTE Technology, the other brands participating in PC Extreme, are AMD, Cooler Master and Adata.

“We are thrilled to be associated with IT Depot for this PC enthusiasts’ event. Especially because the venue is Chennai, a city which boasts one of the highest customer base for high-end processors in India; and the host is IT Depot, which has a nation-wide reputation in the sales of high-end PC rigs. We are expecting participation from a large number of PC lovers, who not only get an opportunity to display their PC building skills, but also to understand and learn how PC performance can be extremely optimized, by experts in the field,” said Sunil Grewal, Director (Sales and MarCom), GIGABYTE Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd.

GIGABYTE Technology will host the overclocking event, wherein the performance benchmark of an Intel Core i7-4770K processor will be boosted, using the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SOC Force motherboard. GA-Z97X-SOC Force, which has won several awards from leading technology media worldwide, is a part of GIGABYTE’s Super Overclock (SOC) series, which has played a crucial role in making OC mainstream globally.
