Says GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK is feature-packed for both conservative PC users and gamers
GIGABYTE has come out with a mid-range PC motherboard for conservative Indian PC user and the gamer. GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK, a part of the company’s 9 series PC motherboards, supports the 4th Gen Haswell processors, Haswell Refresh, and the 5th Gen Broadwell processors.
Along with a number of fan headers and other useful connectors; USB and TIM headers; GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK features 4 x SATA 6Gbps ports and 2 x SATA Express ports.
GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK features an 8-pin power connector and a standard 24-pin ATX power connector, a Killer E2200 series NIC (network interface card) partnered with Intel’s I217-V, and comes with support for multi-VGA configurations. Its key features include SATA Express and M.2 connections up to 10 Gb/s data transfer, and a Realtek ALC1150-based audio system.
According to the press release GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK includes the GIGABYTE APP Center which it says gives one an easy access to a wealth of GIGABYTE Apps that help get the most from GIGABYTE motherboard. The Center allows one to launch all GIGABYTE Apps installed on your system, by using a simple, unified user interface.
Among other utilities, the GIGABYTE App Center includes EasyTune, an Overclocking (OC) utility that lets one use preset OC profiles or make your own advanced OC profiles. With this, you can view and fiddle with frequency, voltages, and other OC-oriented settings.
Another GIGABYTE App Center utility that supports OC is Remote OC. It allows you to remotely control your PC with a powerful suite of software functions that include overclocking and system tweaking. You may go for the multiplier tweaking option for the easiest and steadiest overclocks.
