Fujitsu, SUSE strengthens strategic ties

SUSE and Fujitsu have announced they are strengthening their strategic alliance to address the need for dynamic, flexible and secure cloud and mission-critical open source solutions in the global market. Both companies are committing development, marketing and sales resources and will initially bring hybrid cloud. next-generation cloud infrastructure and mission-critical solutions to market. As a result of this expanded alliance, customers will have access to a wider variety of enterprise offerings and greater flexibility to migrate on-premise environments including SUSE to open source-based public and private clouds.

In addition, customers will also be able take advantage of the comprehensive MetaArc portfolio of solutions, services and cutting-edge technologies, including cloud, mobility, IoT, Big Data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence from Fujitsu as well as an ecosystem of partners. With open source cloud technologies at its heart, MetaArc enables customers to digitalize with confidence. MetaArc is steadily rolling out internationally, with plans for availability from Fujitsu data centers around the globe.
