Fujitsu’ New 2 in 1 tablet – STYLISTIC Q736

Believed to be the most secure notebook -cum tablet, the new STYLISTIC Q736 features different types of security technologies including Fujitsu’s unique PalmSecure palm vein biometric technology – which is more accurate, faster, easier and more hygienic than other biometric authentication scanners.

The new 33.8 cm (13.3-inch) tablet converts instantly into a classic clamshell notebook through the connection of a dockable keyboard – enables security authentication with biometrics or SmartCard technology, also including support for contactless SmartCard via NFC (near-field communication) technology.

Furthermore, the STYLISTIC Q736 features encrypted drives and Intel’s TPM, which provides secured storage for security keys and passwords, further protecting against unauthorized access to sensitive data.

A powerful combination of performance and security elements ensure that the Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q736 is perfectly suited to vertical industries where it is equally important to ensure that data already on the device is secured – for example, patient records in healthcare, or bank account details in financial services – as well as ensuring only secured access to the tablet itself.

The new STYLISTIC Q736 also ensures that users – once quickly and securely authenticated – can access corporate data from anywhere, anytime. The tablet features enterprise grade connectivity including 4G / LTE communications and built-in GPS.

The STYLISTIC Q736 features up to the latest, 6th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 vPro processors, and a high-resolution 33.8 cm (13.3-inch) IPS full-HD anti-glare dual digitizer touchscreen display (1920 cross 1080 pixels). This big-screen tablet can be combined with options such as a keyboard docking station providing additional interfaces and a second battery option, as well as an expansion cradle.

The STYLISTIC Q736 tablet weighs less than 1 kg, putting it among the lightest terminals with an anti-glare, multi-touch display in this form factor. The embedded dual digitizer also works with a digital pen. Although the company has not revealed the price of this product as it will be available from next month, however given the technology advantage, its approximate pricing will be around $2000.
