Former CEO of LokSabha TV Becomes Samsung’s VP-Media

Prior to joining Samsung, he was the Chief Executive Officer of LokSabha TV.

Samsung Electronics appoints Rajiv Mishra as Vice President, Media. In his current role at Samsung, Rajiv will be responsible for overseeing the entire media mandate for the organization across the country.

Rajiv’s career spans over 22 years during which he has held several leadership positions. Prior to joining Samsung, he was the Chief Executive Officer of LokSabha TV. In this role he led the overall functions of the channel including marketing, sales, distribution, producing, hosting and telecasting a complete array of programmes of general interest on issues relating to democracy, governance, social, economic and constitutional issues as well as citizens’ concerns.
He has worked for leading media companies like the Hindustan Times, Star TV, TV Asia of USA, BAG Films & Media. He is also the nominated Member of various Media Advisory bodies in various Ministry of Government of India.

He is also the founder and first President of Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI) and also the first President of Association of Regional Television Broadcasters of India (ARTBI), the industry representative body of regional Broadcasters of India. He has recently been nominated as member, expert committee of Information & Broadcasting Ministry to develop papers on copyright issues.

He is a Masters in Broadcasting from IAB, Montreux, Switzerland and MBA in Media Management from MCNY, USA
