FAIITA Retail Conclave Supported by UPCDWA Draws to a Close

The UPCDWA-supported FAIITA Retail Conclave drew to a close on 7th April before lunch with spectacular success. The aim of the conclave was to boost the confidence of IT retailers in India, and for that, direct interaction was arranged with top executives of all participating brands and dealers across India who attended the event.

Each of the brands was provided a 2-hour time slot to present their products/technology and future product launches. Followed by their presentation, two moderators from FAIITA put questions collected nationally from retailers on the problems faced on certain brand policies particularly on DOA/Demo units, delay in claim settlement, and Fixed cost of Brand store and also suggested how to improve for better working with retailers in the future.

All brands appreciated the concept of the Retail Conclave organized by FAIITA. The event ensured the brands meet the dealers from all over India at one place. Their message was also flashed nationally as all the sessions were live on Facebook, and dealers from all over India were watching.

All India retailers appreciated the efforts of FAIITA – UPCDWA for organizing such an useful event where discussions were held, keeping in mind the benefits and interests of the retail market, Brand Stores, MBO, and T3 partners. The brands like Acer, Asus, Canon, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and AMD, that were in attendance made the event even more impactful.

The concluding remarks were given by Devesh Rastogi, President, FAIITA, and the vote of thanks was given by Navin Gupta, Secretary, FAIITA.

All participating retailers were provided free stay and food by FAIITA. The useful sessions, held at the conclave, are expected to help the retailers to work better with the brands in the days ahead.

“We congratulate FAIITA and UPCDWA on the successful conclave and hope such events continue to be organized in the future,” said one of the participating retailers.
