Rubique, financing needs of individuals & SMEs, endeavors to further ease the concerns of SMEs as well as acquire and retain a valuable set of customers for banks and FIs. With this objective in mind, it has joined hands with 60+ leading financial institutions to increase its product offerings for the SME segment. Edelweiss and Mannapuram are the latest addition to the list of financial partners associated with this leading online marketplace platform that aims to ease credit facilitation for SMEs by allowing quicker decision making and evaluation, thereby reducing the uncertainty of getting their loans disbursed, as per the press release.

Witnessing the high rejection rates in the SME lending space, the Rubique team – with its expertise in banking – helps SME customers approach the right set of financial institutions for their loan requirements. As a unique technology platform, it also facilitates the best deals across a wide range of loans for individuals & SMEs. Moreover, with almost every banks and NBFCs now shifting their focus on the SME category, tremendous opportunities are waiting to be tapped in this segment. Experiencing this trend, Rubique has increased its product portfolio to 155+ product agreements, of which 90 cater to the SMEs in terms of the collateralized Loan against Property (LAP), working capital, term loans, commercial vehicle & equipment financing. The latest tie-ups will further help the SMEs to come under the banking umbrella and ease the loan availability process.

Speaking on this, Manavjeet Singh, Founder and CEO of Rubique, said, “Since our existence, we have been more than just an aggregation platform. Our technology, which makes the entire loan disbursement process less cumbersome & faster for the customer, differentiates us from other lending companies. This has increased our acceptance amongst the FIs and the SMEs. Unlike our initial days, where we had to get banks/NBFCs on our platform through our past network, toda, they are the ones approaching us for an association. By intensifying our association with more banks and NBFCs, we are aiming to broaden our offerings as well as increase the certainty in getting a loan for the consumer. Due to varied risk appetite of banks/NBFCs, there is lot of subjectivity in the loan process especially for SMEs. Our matchmaking algorithm makes the initial screening faster to find right fit of banks/NBFCs for the customers.

The other biggest reason for banks/NBFCs to consider us is the assisted online channel which we have developed by offering technology platform to influencers in loan eco-system. This allows us to reach out to every consumer segment in the market (who is not digital savvy too) and helps bank to get new customer. Through this channel we are also extending the end to end fulfillment, hereby reducing the turnaround time involved in SMEs funding as well as reducing the cost of acquisition for banks/NBFCs significantly”

Based out of India’s financial capital, Mumbai, Rubique has successfully processed over 39,000 applications to disburse over INR 443 crores worth of loans & set up of 12,300+ credit cards since its inception. With each passing day, Rubique is getting more recognition from financial institutions & customers and has closed revenue of INR 8 crores so far. Presently operating in 6 cities, Rubique plans to expand to four other cities, namely Ahmedabad, Chennai, Chandigarh and Jaipur.
