AuthShield Labs gets OATH Certification

AuthShield Labs, an indigenous organization providing Authentication security products for Corporate as well as for Government organizations, has become OATH Certified on 16th November, 2015 in line with its vision to develop world standard Cyber security products and technologies for Indian Government and corporate

The Initiative for Open Authentication (OATH) is a collaboration of leading device, platform and application companies. As the industry is working towards the propagation of ubiquitous strong authentication, OATH has created the certification program to promote inter-operability among products that implement OATH standards. It is an all-encompassing approach that allows strong authentication of all users on all devices across multiple networks.

Manufacturers who integrate this standard technology in their products will produce goods that, because of their ability to inter operate with technologies from other manufacturers, will be a favored choice with customers. Enterprises deploying authentication will have a potential to drive revenues through a more secure online experience for users. Moreover, it will assist to reduce cost of solution deployment by simplifying solution component integration and by enabling sharing / reuse of authentication device with multiple web sites or applications. The widespread deployment of strong authentication will also improve the overall user experience by reducing risk and impact of identity theft.

AuthShield integrates Multi factor of authentication (MFA) using its patented protocol decoding engine which ensures that the company can integrate Multifactor Authentication in applications which have not been protected by Authentication security so far. These applications include Mail clients on Smart Phones / Desktops, SAP, Internet of Things etc.
