ASUS presents new lineup of Digital Signage Solutions

ASUS has showcased its latest line up of digital signage and mini-PC retail solutions at Integrated Systems Europe 2017. Featured products include the Android-powered SA Series smart digital signage, VivoMini UN Series mini PCs and ASUS Chrome devices. The latest ASUS integrated product signage solutions support Windows, Android and Chrome operating systems, and are perfect for fast food, retail, corporate, educational and hospitality use.

SA Series with SignArrange: The smart and convenient media solution

ASUS SA Series digital signage features industrial-grade panels with anti-burn-in technology and are designed for round-the-clock use. This Android-based digital signage supports daisy-chain connections via DisplayPort 1.2, and has a tiling function to provide users with a single large-screen matrix display. It has a built-in USB media player that supports a variety of media formats.

The SA Series is available in 49- and 55-inch models, and has ASUS SignArrange APK pre-installed. This software allows for simple template-based content creation and playback. Users can create their own content on downloadable templates, as well as schedule content playback timetables[1].

The SA Series features a built in G-sensor that senses display orientation and automatically switches between landscape and portrait modes. This flexibility makes it ideal for a variety of placement locations.

SD434-YB: The cost-effective media solution

ASUS SD434-YB is a 43-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) digital signage with an energy-efficient LED panel and wide-view panel technology. It features extensive connectivity features including HDMI, DVI-D, D-Sub, CVBS/Y, audio-in/out, RJ45, RS232-in/out and USB ports. It also has a built-in USB media player that supports a variety of media formats.

ASUS Control Center

ASUS Control Center (ACC) is an app that provides users with an intuitive dashboard to manage their digital signage, allowing them to schedule assigned tasks, or send email notifications in the event of a hardware malfunction. ASUS Control Center makes device customization and management easy, and can be used for a single digital signage or scaled up to manage a fleet of devices.

ASUS mini-PC business solutions

ASUS offers a host of mini-PC business solutions ranging from ultra-slim stick PCs  to 2-liter mini PCs with Windows and Chrome support. They feature the Chrome Management Console and ASUS Business Manager for easy remote management, and are ideal for use in retail locations, transportation hubs, video walls and corporate environments. Customers can even specify their preferred CPU, operating system, Wi-Fi card and storage options for easy customization.

ASUS mini PCs undergo stringent 24-hour ageing, reliability and compatibility testing to ensure perfect performance right out of the box. These trials include exposing the product to temperature and humidity extremes, burn-in, and power-on-and-off cycles, among others.

ASUS VivoMini UN45

ASUS VivoMini PC UN45 is powered by an Intel Celeron processor. It features full connectivity with a total of four USB 3.0 ports, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The UN45 delivers stunning 4K UHD visuals, and supports up to three independent displays through HDMI and mini DisplayPort++. VivoMini PC UN45 has a compact VESA-mount-compatible chassis and has an easy-access panel for hassle-free hardware upgrades. Its fanless design ensures almost silent operation even under full load.

ASUS Chromebox 2 (CN62)

ASUS Chromebox 2 is powered by a 5th Generation Intel Core processor and delivers stunning 4K UHD visuals. Chromebox 2 has a low-noise design and features a total of four USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, a 4-in-1 card reader, an audio output jack, HDMI and DisplayPort++ ports, and a Kensington lock. Chrome OS takes the stress out of computing with automatic updates and built-in anti-virus software for a smart and secure digital environment. Google Chrome’s web-based management console lets users easily manage user accounts, applications or devices across an organization from a single device.

ASUS Chromebit CS10

At just 12cm long, ASUS Chromebit CS10 is the world’s smallest Chrome OS device and delivers Full HD 1080p visuals. Chromebit CS10 has dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, along with USB and HDMI ports. It also comes with an extension cable or an exclusive bendable Flex Connect HDMI connector to accommodate the varying angles and positions of HDMI ports on different displays.
