Array Networks gets recognition as leader in Cloud Computing

The Array AVX Series virtualized appliance won in the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) category for its ability to support application delivery and security functions in a multi-tenant environment while maintaining guaranteed performance.

The Business Intelligence Group announced that it has awarded Array Networks Inc. a 2016 Stratus Award in their annual contest. The organization sought to identify the companies, products and people that are offering unique solutions that take advantage of cloud technologies.

This is especially critical for cloud IaaS, managed service and hosting providers who want to offer application delivery and security services, but must be able to support SLAs for customers.

In addition to supporting multiple instances and L4-L7 services with guaranteed performance, the AVX Series also supports different size instances, pay-as-you-go pricing and integration with cloud management platforms including OpenStack, VMware vRealize and Microsoft System Center.

“Congratulations to the entire Array Networks team for helping accelerate adoption of the cloud and for working to make all of our lives a little richer,” said Russ Fordyce, Managing Director of the Business Intelligence Group. “The cloud is dominating the technology industry and we do not see any markers for that trend not continuing.”

“I am very proud of our employees for their dedication and hard work on the AVX project,” said Michael Zhao, CEO of Array Networks. “Customers have been asking for the agility of cloud and virtualization with the performance of dedicated appliances, and we are thrilled to be able to deliver this new capability. The cloud is transforming the world and the Stratus Cloud Award is one more example of Array technology continuing to lead the industry.”
