Adobe India To Follow Predatory Pricing Policies In the Indian Software Market

Adobe India is selling software on its Adobe.com website directly to Indian customers evading Withholding Taxes and possibly GST.   Adobe India is selling at 7% lower than the prices given to Indian resellers by its Authorised Distributor IngramMicro.

These lower prices are applicable to Business , Education and Corporate customers. This is causing enormous hardship to Indian Channel partners who are forced to keep quiet as the Adobe Indian Team will stop supporting them and shift their customers to other partners. This practice has been prevalent from the last 5 years and the percentage of the lower prices has increased from initially 1% to 7% as of now. Also they are billing to Indian customers from outside India by credit card evading Taxes and Income tax guidelines.

Ideally, the web prices should be ~10% higher than the reseller transfer rates, but with its lower online prices Adobe India has disrupted the Indian Software Market.
