Anticipating the requirement, ZICOM worked on a solution that will fulfill two basic requirement to gain confidence of the people: Quick accessibility and Storage limitation and Document Authentication from an independent source. The company after finalizing a workable solution named the product as “Aadhar Verification Services (AVS). The base of verifying an individual’s Aadhar document was secured by linking AVS with Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) data registered.
Challenges:
Two recent events namely a gang preparing fake Aadhar card was caught by Bhiwandi crime branch in Jan 2017 and a Mumbai based businessman losing Rs. 2.49 lakh to a Delhi based racketeer who accessed his account by getting his personal details address and contact number-changed to the national capital using fake Aadhaar card exposes chink in country’s banking security system.
