Transcend Releases JetFlash 880 USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Also features a micro USB 2.0 interface for Android devices that support USB On-The-Go.

Transcend Information launches the JetFlash 880 OTG (On-The-Go) Flash Drive. Designed to transform the way Android users carry, transfer and exchange personal digital content, the JetFlash 880 features a USB 3.0 interface for even faster transfer speeds between computers to boost efficiency.

Besides a Superspeed USB 3.0 interface which provides 10 times the bandwidth of USB 2.0, the dual access JetFlash 880 also features a micro USB 2.0 interface for Android devices that support USB On-The-Go. This allows users to move or copy files to and from their device’s memory card via a steady USB connection that is faster and more reliable than Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile internet 3G/4G. Combining two interfaces into one high-capacity flash drive up to 64GB, the JetFlash 880 focuses on the portable storage needs of mobile device users and eliminates dependence on computers, cables and adapters.

The JetFlash 880 is produced with quality metal at a much smaller size and lighter weight than ordinary flash drives; ideal for Ultrabook and notebooks. Despite their petit appearance, the use of innovative COB (Chip On Board) engineering makes the JetFlash 880 completely resistant to dust and water.

Featuring File Management, File Encryption and One-touch Backup functions, the Transcend Elite App allows users to easily explore files on the inserted memory card or USB flash drive, transfer files with 256-bit AES Encryption, share files to a variety of cloud storage services, and quickly backup photos, videos, documents, and other important content stored on their Android device.
Further, Transcend’s JetFlash 880 USB Flash Drives are available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, and carry Transcend’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
