Launches New Single App Plan for Creative Cloud for Teams Making it Easier to Purchase and Deploy

Adobe launched a new single app plan of Adobe Creative Cloud (CC). It enables creative teams to purchase membership of a single desktop application from the entire collection of CC. The new plan includes 20GB of storage and the ability to showcase work on Behance. Adobe had launched this subscription based licensing in March, 2013. Earlier, the users had no option to choose one or more applications. The complete suite with fourteen Adobe desktop applications had to be purchased.

“Affordability and availability of the product has resulted in huge uptake. With CC, all the new features and upgrades are available to our consumers in real time. We are witnessing that new customers along with the existing ones are moving to fresh licensing model. Channel partners are content with the new offering. They can increase their customer base as it is more affordable,” says Gaurav Kanwal, Head Distribution Channels, Adobe South Asia.

Adobe is conducting regular webinars for the channel partners so as to train them about CC. Gaurav feels that there has never been a better time for small to medium businesses to access Adobe products. The new single app plan for teams delivers many of the benefits of full Creative Cloud for team membership. Customers will receive updates to their favorite desktop CC application as new features become available.

A web portal, the Admin Console, lets administrators centrally purchase, deploy and manage all seats across an organization – whether single app or complete – under one membership agreement. Both the complete and single app plans are available via reseller partners.
The new single app plan of Adobe Creative Cloud for teams is available for a suggested retail price of INR 2083 per user per month. Existing customers with CS3 or later are eligible for single app membership at a suggested retail price of INR 1392 per user per month.
