ADCs Optimize and Secure KDDI Cloud Infrastructure Service

A10 vThunder ADCs combine increased performance and flexibility to enhance scalability of cloud infrastructure service

A10 Networks reveals its selection of A10 vThunder ADC by a telecommunications operator, as the preferred application delivery controller for its corporate cloud infrastructure KDDI Cloud Platform Service (KCPS).

vThunder ADC features has been available for subscription from July 30, it include server load balancing, global server load balancing (GSLB), DDoS Protection, high density multi-tenancy and more with the award-winning high-performance ACOS technology platform.

KDDI selected the A10 vThunder ADC as it provides a variety of high-performance features that bolster its cloud infrastructure service offering, while also enabling it to lower operating costs and streamline internal workloads. The vThunder load balancing and L4-7 ADC functions have enhanced both the scalability and flexibility of its cloud platform.

A10 Thunder ADC solutions are equipped with A10’s award-winning ACOS 4.0, which includes the A10 Harmony Architecture. A10 Harmony allows users to quickly and efficiently integrate third-party services to their enterprise, cloud and service provider networks, with a full RESTful API designed for DevOps environments and Web-scale IT. The technology also delivers agile configuration of security policies, empowering organizations to utilize on-demand services for applications in different cloud consumption models. ACOS 4.0 integrates security with Secure Cloud Interconnect to allow hyper-scale performance IPsec VPN, Web Application Firewall and more.

vThunder ADC benifits include Global server load balancing (GSLB) functions paired with security enhancement and disaster recovery features, reduces capital, operating costs and workload by eliminating the need to renew ADC license keys, enhanced scalability, security and reliability out of the box and accelerated application performance with no feature limitations, Carrier Grade Networking (CGN) extends limited IPv4 addresses with CGNAT and simplifies the migration to IPv6 with multiple features, Application Delivery Partitions (ADPs) support on-demand high density multi-tenancy environments and Advanced L4-7 application delivery controller services.
