Sriram Viswanathan Named Aspect’s New Channel Head

joins as director- channels & alliances for India and the Middle East

Aspect Software has appointed Sriram Viswanathan as Director- Channels & Alliances for India and the Middle East. In this role, Sriram will build and lead Aspect’s partner efforts in the region, which is among the key growth markets for the company.

Sriram, who will be based out of Bangalore, succeeds Sanjay Puri, who was the lead for Aspect’s channel operations in the region and has played a significant role in augmenting the channel landscape in India and the Middle East. Puri has recently grown into the role of Sales Director, Aspect for North & East India.

Sriram joins from Avaya where he’s handled numerous responsibilities in management of both system integrators and distribution partners in the past 4 years. Prior to Avaya, Sriram has managed the channels and commercial business in RSA, The Security Division of EMC, and has also undertaken recognizable assignments in companies such as Sonicwall Inc., CNT International and CADD Center, in the past.

Commenting on the appointment, Sanjay Gupta, MD, Aspect India, SAARC & Middle East, said, “Sriram’s ardent engagement with this ecosystem and keen understanding of the value proposition which Aspect has to offer makes him the perfect fit for this role.
