Rolls out new MPS program with value proposition to both partner and customers
HP India launched a new Managed Print Services (MPS) program with an aim to offer cost cutting to the customers and empower partners in the growing market for among India’s SMBs and Enterprise segment.
“MPS will enable partners to have a long term relationship with customers. Since this is a service based model, it allows for contractual engagement and not just a traditional transaction. It will reduce the number of devices and help generate consistent cash flows,” said Nitin Hiranandani, Director, Printing, HP PPS India.
MPS currently has been rolled out with selected 10-15 partners in Delhi and Mumbai. It will be extended to other cities later in the year.
“What makes HP different is that our leadership in printing services in India and our offering of a wide portfolio of products with differentiated services. On services support front, we have the wide reach, coverage and right tools to address the need of MPS. This is what makes us different,” added Nitin.
With MPS partners can tap this opportunity by optimizing infrastructure, managing the environment and improving workflows.
“By involving channel partners, we are making them ready for the future. In this way, partners would increase their revenue build up their gross margins. Partners will be able to add more value and earn far better revenue than from the hardware market. It helps partners and HP bring the customer prices down and help them save up to 15-20%,” commented Gurpreet Brar, Director- Commercial Channel Sales, PPS, India.
According to Nitin any vertical which prints more is among the target areas at the moment. However, key focus is on Banking, Financial, Insurance, Legal, and Retail.
