Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur deploys PlumERP

Provider of enterprise cloud-based ERP and enterprise software suites from Hyderabad-based Plumsoft said that that Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur has deployed PlumERP to provide a comprehensive and integrated e-governance to automate their internal processes and systems from Student Administration, Academics, Financials & Accounting, HR and Payroll, Purchase, Inventory to Institute Resource Management all from within one unified cloud-based business management platform.

Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (formerly known as Malaviya Regional Engineering College) established in 1963 is fully funded by MHRD, the Government of India. The institute comprises of 15 Departments and 1200 courses. The current batch has around 6000 students and 200 members from the faculty.

MNIT initiated the modernization efforts to replace a mix of disparate software applications that hamper efficiency and visibility. Implementing PlumERP has resulted in streamlined operations, efficient processes and real-time visibility into their organization’s performance, while eliminating manual process and reducing IT costs and overhead. Further, MNIT is able to provide engaging, personalized and seamless experiences to their students, faculty and administration in a secure cloud that can be accessed anytime anywhere.

Sharing his views, Prof. I.K. Bhat, Director, MNIT Jaipur, said, “Malaviya National Institute of Technology has initiated the E-Governance System in a Mission mode. The institute has started with academic and a few administrative processes on-line in real time basis. The modules implemented so far have helped in making the system more effective. It has brought greater transparency and accountability in the system.”
